Eri Yoshida received her Ph.D. in Polymer Engineering (1994) from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. She joined the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, Kyoto Institute of Technology (KIT) as Assistant Professor in 1994. While she worked at KIT, she stayed at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a visiting scientist in 1999. She moved to Toyohashi University of Technology as Associate Professor in 2004. She stayed at the City University of New York, Queens College for the faculty-exchange program in 2016. Her research interest concerns polymer chemistry including controlled/living radical polymerization, supramolecular chemistry based on molecular self-assembly, and supercritical CO2 chemistry. Currently her interest focuses on polymer giant vesicles as artificial biomembrane models using amphiphilic diblock copolymers prepared by photo controlled/living radical polymerization-induced self-assembly.

Vinod Kumar Gupta, fellow of the World Innovation Foundation (FWIF)FELLOW 0f royal society of chemistry( London) and fellow of National Academy of Sciences India (FNASc), obtained his Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from the University of Roorkee (now Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee), Roorkee, India, in 1979. Since then he is working at the same institute and at present is the Head of Chemistry department. He has worked as postdoctoral fellow at University of Regensburg, Germany, in the year 1993 as an EC fellow and was DAAD visiting professor at University of Chemnitz and Freie University of Berlin in the year 2002. He received the Citation Laureate Award in 2004 and has been Chair Professor at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia since 2009. His research interests include chemical and biosensors,chiral chromatography, liquid chromatography ,tandem mass spectrometry, chemical and biochemical remediation of organic and inorganic pollutants, waste water treatment by developing low cost adsorbents and environmental chemistry. Professor Gupta is a widely travelled researcher and is member on the editorial board of many international journals. He is a highly cited researcher in the area of Ecology and Environment with more than700 papers 68500 citations and h index=155. He has guided 43 PhD students and 10 are working currently besides supervising about 50 masters dissertation. He is an editor of the Journal- Environmental Science and Pollution Research (ESPR) published by Springer with IF 2.87. He has visited almost all countries for academic and research work.

Shau Lapidot has completed his PhD from the Hebrew Unveristy of Jerusalem, Israel. He is a co-founder and CEO of Melodea, a premier biomaterial and nanotechnology company. He has more than ten years of research leadership and business leadership in the field of nano cellulose and bio-composites.

Dr. Joe Greene is a professor and department chair in the Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering and Sustainable Manufacturing Department at California State University, Chico. He received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 1993 from the University of Michigan. Joe began teaching at California State University, Chico in 1998 after a 14-year career with General Motors Corporation in Detroit, Michigan. His research interests include biobased and biodegradable polymers, recycled plastics, marine biodegradation testing, and anaerobic digestion.

Dr. Ram Gupta is an Associate Professor at Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas, USA. Dr. Gupta’s research focuses on green energy production and storage using conducting polymers and composites, nanomaterials, optoelectronics and photovoltaics devices, organic-inorganic hetero-junctions for sensors, nanomagnetism, bio-based polymers, bio-compatible nanofibers for tissue regeneration, scaffold and antibacterial applications, bio-degradable metallic implants. Dr. Gupta published over 185 peer-reviewed articles in leading science journals, made over 250 national/international/ regional presentations, chaired many sessions at national/international meetings, and received over one and a half million dollars for research and educational activities. He is serving as a member of editorial board in the role of co-editor-in-chief, associate editor, etc for various journals.

Tadashi Yagi holds master’s degree in Agriculture from School of Agriculture, Kinki University. His major was Bio-chemistry. After joining Mitsui Chemicals, he worked on safety and eco-friendly material science in the Life Science Lab. and Analysis Centre concerning development and evaluation std. test methods for biobased/biodegradable materials. He devoted himself in new business development including polylactic acid ”LACEA” from 1992 to 2008. He serves as Advisor of the Japan Society of Biomass Industries from 2009.

Dr. Maria Spasova has completed her PhD from Institute of Polymers, Bulgarian Academy of Scienes (IP-BAS) supervised by Prof. I. Rashkov, and Technical University – Sofia, Bulgaria and postdoctoral study from University of Mons, Belgium with Prof. Ph. Dubois. At the present time she is associate professor in Laboratory of Bioactive Polymers, IP-BAS. In 2018 based on her outstanding work and contributions to the field of polymer chemistry she has been declared Antimony – the 51st element in the periodic table of elements from the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry. She has published more than 30 scientific articles in polymer science and has more than 400 citations.

MUHAMMAD RABNAWAZ (Ph.D.) is an assistant professor in the School of Packaging, Michigan State University since August 2016. He is also an adjunct professor in the Chemistry Department at Michigan State University. Dr. Rabnawaz earned his Ph.D. from Queen’s University, Canada in polymer chemistry. He was a postdoc in the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, during 2015-2016. Dr. Rabnawaz research is focused on the designed synthesis of green plastics for packaging, and novel coatings for packaging applications. Dr. Rabnawaz has filed 17 patents, and he holds several licensed patents. Dr. Rabnawaz has also published over 20 research articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Prof.Balasubramanian,C.Chem,FRSC has more than three decades of research and teaching experience from the University of Madras,India.He has published more than hundred papers in international journals and has nine patents. Dr.Malathi and Dr.Gajendiran carried out their Ph.D program under his supervision in the area of controlled drug delivery.

Dr. David Grewell received a BS, MS and Ph.D. in Industrial Systems and Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University with minors in biomedical engineering and polymer processing in 1989, 2002 and 2005, respectively. He holds 17 patents, has been given numerous honors and awards and as well as numerous publications, including two books. He is currently the Department Chair for Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at North Dakoata State University. Dr. Grewell is the Director of the NSF Center for Bioplastics and Biocomposites, Chair of International Institute of Welding Commission IXV, a Board Member of the Ultrasonic Industry Association, Plastics and Society of Plastics Engineers, as well as a Fellow within the Society of Plastics Engineers.

Dimitrios N. Bikiaris is a Professor at the Chemistry Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since 2015. His research interests include the synthesis and characterization of biodegradable polyesters and development of polymers using biobased monomers. He has published more than 350 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute in 10 journals. He has written 4 chapters in scientific books and has 15 international patents. He has participated in more than 300 international and national conferences and has been reviewer in more than 120 international journals.
